The Belton High School Wrestling team is located in Belton, Missouri (just south of Kansas City). Our program boasts full Boys and Girls wrestling programs, which have developed state champions, state medalists, conference champs, and USA Wrestling All-Americans.

The Belton boys team has won team plaques, most recently in 2023 (3rd place in the state). Our girls team is consistently one of the best dual teams in the state and has won multiple conference titles in a row.

Our Head Coaches, Jeremy Baker (boys) and Greg Linhart (girls) are considered some of the best head coaches in the state. Both have coached the MOUSA Junior Duals teams and the Missouri National Teams at Fargo.

BHS has a long tradition of success in Boys Wrestling, including Top 5 finishes in 2015, 2016, and 2018; as well as Top 10 finishes in 1997, 2000, 2005, 2007, 2008, and 2017. The team placed 3rd in MO in 2023.

Since 2018, Missouri has sanctioned Girls Wrestling as a sponsored sport. In 2021-22 and 2022-23 our girls finished 10-1 in duals, winning both the dual and tournament Conference Championships
